Promote what you do to improve the lives of young people in Leeds

Be part of the Children's Commissioner Takeover Challenge

This year Young Lives Leeds is taking part in the Children’s Commissioner Takeover Challenge. The Takeover Challenge is a fun hugely successful and exciting children’s and young people’s national engagement project, led by the Children’s Commissioner for England. The programme sees organisations across England opening their doors to children and young people to take over adult roles.

Young Lives Leeds will be inviting young people to takeover the communications at Voluntary Action Leeds on Tuesday 21 November.

As well as running our twitter feeds a small group of young people will interviewing third sector organisations across Leeds, on camera and in writing, about how they make difference for children and young people. These reports will be shared on Doing Good Leeds.

To make this happen we are looking for organisations who’d like to be interviewed on the day (21 Nov) at our offices in Hunslet.

If you would like to promote your organisations’ work and help to celebrate the energy and enthusiasm of children and young people please let Richard know at richard.warrington@val.org.uk by close of play Friday 3 November – we will then contact you to confirm the details.
