The First 1001 Days – Insight with Bangladeshi Families

The Children and Families Public Health Team at Leeds City Council are looking to speak with Bangladeshi families about pregnancy and the first two years in a child’s life

We do a lot of work to ensure every child in Leeds has the best start in life, but in order to do this effectively it is important that we have a good understanding of the communities that make up our city. We are keen to speak with parents, grandparents and the wider family in the Bangladeshi community about their views of pregnancy and raising young children. We would also like to hear from practitioners who support families at this time, such as Midwives, Health Visitors and staff in Children’s Centres. If you would like to take part in this insight work and contribute to improving our understanding and ensuring every child has the best start in life, please contact Nicola Goldsborough at Conversations will be informal and can be one to one or in a group setting. We are also happy to speak with you at a venue of your choice. All information will be confidential and you can withdraw at any time should you wish to do so.
