An exciting vision to transform Leeds General Infirmary (LGI) has been launched by Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and they are seeking views on the proposals.
The Trust has plans for two state-of-the-art hospital buildings at Leeds General Infirmary. The first will expand its world-class adult services, with facilities including brand-new theatres and added critical care.
The second will be an amazing, new Leeds Children's Hospital, bringing health services for children and young people together in a building dedicated to their needs.
The proposals are part of an ambitious, long-term vision for the LGI called Hospitals of the Future, which aims to revolutionise health services for patients in Leeds and the wider region. The new buildings will enable staff to deliver advanced care based around the latest treatments, new technologies, innovation and research.
The Trust is keen to hear from anyone who'd like to share feedback on the plans. Drop-in to see them at the Carriageworks, Millennium Square, Leeds, LS2 3AD on Friday 9 November, from 10am - 3pm and Monday 19 November, from 4pm - 8pm
