Opportunity to attend a Yorkshire and Humber Academic Health Science Network event in January 2019

There are a couple of spaces available to volunteers who would be interested in attending an event, from a patient perspective, to get a chance to hear about how digital innovations can support diabetes care in Yorkshire and Humber. The event will be taking place in Leeds on Wednesday 30 January 2019 from 9.30am to 4pm. There is no requirement to be living with diabetes to attend this event.

“In order to inform thinking related to digital, Leeds Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) are keen to understand what the market has to offer in terms of digital solutions for people living with diabetes, those caring for someone with diabetes or for those working in diabetes-related services such as specialist diabetes teams and primary care.

“The AHSN (Academic Health Science Network) are working alongside commissioners at Leeds CCG to hold an event purely for digital solutions in diabetes. This event is a chance for clinicians and commissioners from anywhere in the Yorkshire and Humber region to learn more about digital solutions currently available as well as hear from some leading professionals, Providers of digital solutions have been invited to take part in this market engagement opportunity and will be invited to present their solutions to healthcare professionals and commissioners at this event.”
