LCF launch Healthy Holidays grants to fund projects that address Holiday Hunger in Leeds through promoting Healthy Holiday activities with a food component for school-aged young people.
Supported by the Department for Education’s Holiday Activities and Food Programme and administered by Leeds Community Foundation, this Fund will provide voluntary groups, charities and social enterprises with grants of £500 - £10,000 to support locally-based community activities across Leeds.
Projects should be delivered in the most deprived areas of Leeds, with priority given to the areas identified as priority neighbourhoods by Leeds City Council and its partners, and should prioritise children who are eligible for free school meals. LCF are keen to receive applications from a diverse range of organisations and will have approximately £400,000 to distribute.
Deadline for applications is 31/5/19 at noon. For further information and application form go to: https://www.leedscf.org.uk/healthy-holidays
Groups that have already received funding for Leeds Healthy Holidays 2019 are able to apply for top-up funding. Please contact the Grants Team on (0113) 242 2426 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss this. Schools can also apply in this round but need to speak to the team first.
