Building Stronger Communities - Wharfedale Foundation 10th Anniversary Celebration

The Wharfedale Foundation is holding it's 10th anniversary of making small grants to organisations across Yorkshire and Humber helping to bring communities together.

Join us on Tuesday 18th June at 2.00pm - 5.00pm at St. George's Conference Centre, 60 Great George Street, Leeds, LS1 3DL and the wonderful Bradford Friendship Choir in celebrating 10 years of the Wharefedale Foundation providing small grants to organisations across Y&H that build and strengthen communities by breaking down barriers and facilitating the integration of marginalised groups.
We will be showcasing projects we have supported, and have guest speakers familiar with the issues our funded groups face (poverty, marginalisation, lack of social inclusion and the need for a safe refuge), who will also highlight the future challenges facing the voluntary and community sector.
Guest speakers: David Warner - Social Change and Strategic Philanthropy Consultant, supporting the Civil Society Futures independent report enquiry and Reverend Dr. Inderjit Bhogal OBE - theologian and Methodist minister, founder and President of City of Sanctuary movement.

Light refreshments will be provided. There will be a small charge of £10.00
