Leeds Funding Support Network Meeting

Quarterly meetings to support people involved in fundraising for their Voluntary, community, faith organisation, small charity or social enterprise in Leeds.

The Leeds Funding Support Network invites anyone (worker, volunteer, committee member) involved in fundraising for a not-for-profit charity, voluntary, community faith group or social enterprise, to come along and share their fundraising ideas and tips as well as raise any fundraising issues. We invite funders to keep us up to date with funding pots and fundraising methods.

This quarter's meeting will include an update from: Anushka Vinales, Groundwork Community Officer about Comic Relief Community Grants of up to £4,000 for grassroots projects under 4 themes: 
Children Survive & Thrive; Fighting for Gender Justice; A Safe Place to Be; Mental Health Matters. Plus grants up to £500 to develop your organisation and Zahid Butt, Reducing Youth Violence Programme Lead, Safer Leeds will tell us about short term grants of £3,000 to £12,000 to Prevent Youth Violence in Armley, Burmantofts, Richmond Hill, Chapeltown, Gipton and Harehills available from LCC for projects to be delivered by 31st March 2020 - including e.g. grants for equipment or to extend activities you already deliver to young people 8-25.
