LCF Resilience Fund opens.

Grants up to £10,000 to support charities in Leeds that are experiencing exceptional difficulties operating as a result of the impact of COVID-19

Leeds Community Foundation Resilience Fund open programme will be accepting Expression of Interest forms from Monday 1st June until noon on 17th June.

Grants will be for up to £10,000 to support charities in Leeds that are experiencing exceptional difficulties operating as a result of the impact of COVID-19. 50% of the grant can be spent on project delivery and 50% on strategic and core costs. It will be a one-time, unrestricted grant to help community groups, charities, social enterprises or other charitable organisations whose primary purpose is to alleviate the hardship faced by vulnerable groups of people in Leeds, through urgent gaps in relation to cash flow; for example where funding streams have frozen, where demand has increased, or where bridging support is required to cover core costs while adapting to new operating models or seeking new funding streams.

Priority to: small local organisations; organisations working in areas of multiple disadvantage; organisations historically underrepresented in grant funding sector such as BAME led; and those who find it more challenging to fundraise from the public e.g. marginalised groups such as those supporting people with addictions or who are in the criminal justice system etc.

Apply by a short expression of interest form to be submitted by noon 17/6/19 with full applications to be submitted in July.  Funds must be spent by December 2020. Details at: https://leedscf.org.uk/grants/resilience-fund/
