The latest version of #TogetherLeeds Newsletter focuses on the importance of shielding
This week, with over 50% of people in Leeds who have been advised to shield not registering with the national database, we stress the importance of doing so to access a wealth of support and advice.
This is a concern with all community groups, but most markedly with BAME communities. For example, with the Bangladeshi, Pakistani, and Chinese communities, where less than one in three of those shielding have registered.
In recognition of the challenging and difficult conditions that COVID-19 is creating, we offer practical tips to look after yourself and remain active, and signpost the latest help available if you’re suffering from anxiety or depression.
