CRT opens again to support projects in Kippax, Methley and Rothwell addressing local needs during Covid-19 to sustain or extend delivery or enable groups to re-start.
Coalfield Regeneration Trust Recovery and Resilience Fund is once again open for applications from groups in Kippax, Rothwell and Methley who need grants up to £10,000 for projects responding to Covid-19.
Applicants should address local needs during this difficult time and show how additional funding will sustain or extend service delivery or enable your organisation to start operating again. Projects must be able to start as soon as decision given and must last 2 to 6 months.
Projects might include: advice to people in crisis, food/support to people in financial crisis; support for people with mental health issues, loneliness, health inequalities, those suffering abuse and groups providing volunteer support etc.
Eligibility survey closes at 5pm on 28 August 2020 with full applications to be received by 11 September 2020 at 5pm.
Will not fund costs of actual food for food related projects as the Coalfields Food Insecurity Response Fund in July will be a food purchasing programme, but will fund food delivery costs etc, such as volunteer costs or co-ordination.
