Leeds Community Foundation is delighted to be launching the Flint Family Fund which aims to support young people in Leeds. Grants will be of £2,500 to £5,000 (up to 1 year), £2,500 to £10,000 (up to 2 years).
The focus of the Fund is to support disadvantaged children and young people in Leeds through:
- Supporting a good education for all and helping to remove any barriers to learning;
- Creating opportunities to engage children and young people in sport to encourage lifelong passions, interests and personal development; and
- Raising aspirations and confidence and giving support to future careers and dreams.
We are keen to hear from organisations working with children and young people in Leeds either to improve their literacy skillsor touse sport as a delivery vehicle for aspiration raising and confidence building.For the purpose of the Flint Family Fund, children and young people should be aged between 5-25 years old.The application process for the Flint Family Fund will be two-fold;a full application and a video recording.
