This two-day course aims to introduce participants to:
a) The principles of Charity Accounting and the form and content of charity accounts as required by the Charities SORP (FRS 102).
b) The principles and practicalities of undertaking an Independent Examination and the Charity Commissions’ Directions to independent examiners.

Non-ACIE members are welcome and the cost for them includes Affiliate membership for one year.

|Learning outcomes||Attendees will be made familiar with the theory and practice of performing independent examinations on charity accounts in England & Wales in accordance with the Charities SORP (FRS 102).|
|Suitable for||Participants will have little previous knowledge or experience in charity accounting but will be familiar with generally accepted accounting principles and reporting. They are likely to be qualified or experienced accountants and may have experience of auditing, but will be unfamiliar with independent examination.|
