Our entry level Working with Children and Young People course provides the knowledge and skills that potential employers and organisations that work with children, young people and families will be looking for in their employees and volunteers.

It is aimed at supporting people to gain employment or volunteering opportunities in the children's workforce.

The course is made up of four discrete units of learning, each of which can be purchased separately. Each unit consists of seven hours of training over a single day (four days for all four units).

As such, participants are free to book the four days of training either consecutively, or in blocks, to suit their personal requirements and schedule.

Unit 1 - The Children's Workforce (Tuesday 12 September 2017)

Unit 2 - Managing Challenging Behaviour (Wednesday 13 September 2017)

Unit 3 - Dealing with Trauma and Attachment (Thursday 14 September 2017)

Unit 4 - Essential Skills for Working with Children and Young People (Friday 15 September 2017)
