Be Social: Facebook and Twitter for non profits

This is a full day course.  Half of the course is focussed on Facebook, where attendees will be taken step by step through all the tools available to non profits, topics will include raising awareness, activating supporters and fundraising.  The other half of the day will focus on Twitter and how to apply best practises in order to increase your impact.

Learning outcomes An introduction to the basics of Facebook/Twitter. Knowledge of how to set up a Facebook page and twitter account. Know how to create and manage a Facebook event. Understanding how to engage and activate local supporters through Facebook.
Suitable for Any voluntary sector organisation or group looking to start or develop social media activity on Facebook and/orTwitter. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptop/tablet to get the most of this training, however this is not a requirement.
