Coaching Skills to Support Development

When 21 March at 9:30am to 4:00pm, 2018
Provided by Voluntary Action Leeds

We are all aware of the value of effective supervision – those one-to-one meetings that focus on reviewing the performance of staff members and setting developmental goals. To use that valuable time most efficiently, adopt a coaching approach to achieve better communication, co-operation and improvement in performance. Effective coaching increases self-awareness and reduces conflict, leading to enhanced performance from staff members who take responsibility for their own developing competence and confidence. This is a very practical introduction to coaching skills for team leaders and managers.
