|Description||This workshop is suitable for professionals working with people who self-harm (e.g. mental health staff, pastoral care staff, support workers, youth workers, GPs, police officers etc.) as well as parents/carers of people of all ages who self-harm.

· The benefits of knowing what the triggers are
· Positive & negative effects of self harm
· The sufferer's challenges when reaching for help
· Management of self harm and how to help
· Do's and don’ts
· Suggestions on how to interact with those who self harm and how to talk to parents of children who self harm
Battle Scars is a survivor led organisation and all training is delivered by survivors.
