Description To improve the knowledge and confidence of front-line staff and managers in working with the needs of people who have sexual offence convictions or other harmful sexual behaviours.

Learning outcomes At the end of this training you will: - Understand what is meant by the term ‘harmful sexual behaviours’, and who is affected by them - Have knowledge of the legal framework that statutory agencies use to manage sex offenders - Have a framework for understanding risk factors relating to harmful sexual behaviours - Have an understanding of what helps clients to live safe lives - Have greater confidence in your abilities to support clients, and be able to understand how to balance this with the potential risks
