Description This course equips participants with theory and skills for effective group facilitation. This course gives participants a psychologically informed, skills based approach to group facilitation using a training model designed specifically for this course. The course uses a number of learning activities and requires high levels of participation for practising and reflecting on skills.

Learning outcomes At the end of the course participants will be able to: • Understand more about group process theories • Be aware of what to consider when leading a group • Start to understand and ‘spot’ group processes • Have practised facilitation skills
Suitable for This course is for people with some experience of working in groups and aims to provide a theoretical and practical learning experience to develop and consolidate group facilitation skills.
