Description | To give participants an overview of interventions that are useful in relieving the symptoms of anxiety and depression. The course provides an overview of both conditions and also teaches a variety of evidence- based tools and techniques which are designed to help alleviate distressing symptoms. It also explores ways in which individual and interpersonal behaviours can maintain these conditions. The course uses a variety of teaching methods, such as presentation, group work, experiential learning and self-assessment. |
