Preparation for Higher Education Taster Day

Description PHE is a one-year foundation course for adults returning to study. It prepares mature students to progress to a range of degrees in social sciences, arts and humanities and healthcare. The course offers a supportive environment to develop the confidence, knowledge and academic skills to make a successful transition to university.When is the course taught? Part-time on a Tuesday and Thursday evening, from September to June. Plus one monthly Saturday session.

These free events provide an opportunity to: • meet course tutors and current mature students • learn more about our courses and discover how you can fit study around you • find out more about studying as an adult, and the financial support available • take a look at a university campus.

Please provide details of your childcare requirements when you register and we will contact you to discuss this. Parents who need to leave early to collect children from school are welcome to do so. Please book at least 7 days before your chosen date, or 10 days before if you require childcare.
