|Description||The Prince's Trust Team Programme is a 12 week, full-time course with a nationally recognised qualification for young people aged 16-24. The aim is to build confidence, motivation and skills by working in a team to benefit the local community.
What happens on Team?
Week 1 - Induction
Getting to know each other, setting goals and planning for the coming weeks.
Week 2 - Residential
A residential course to build and test team skills, confidence and a sense of responsibility for others. This gives young people a chance to break free from their current situation.
Week 3 to 6 - Community Project
The Team selects, plans, fundraises for and carries out a project that will benefit the local community.
Week 7 and 8 - Work Placements
An opportunity for young people to practise the skills they have developed in the workplace, and away from their Team.
Week 9 - Next Steps
A week to provide support for transition beyond the programme, including CV writing skills and interview techniques.
Week 10 and 11 - Team Challenge
The Team carry out a challenging experience helping others within the local community.
Week 12 - Presentation
Team and personal progress is reviewed, and a presentation is made to friends and family to present their achievements from the course.

|Suitable for||The Team programme is suitable for young people aged 16-24 who are not in employment, education or training. We accept young people from all background and areas of Leeds. There are no formal entry requirements, just a positive attitude.|

|Cost||The course is free to attend and will not affect any benefits being claimed. For eligible young people, free bus travel and lunches are provided.|
