Description If you work in Leeds and have an interest in health and wellbeing, or have a role that includes this, you can look for opportunities to Make Every Contact Count (MECC) with customers, clients/patients and colleagues to maintain or improve their mental and physical health and wellbeing where possible, whatever your role or the purpose of the contact. We will show you how. So what? Using MECC skills will save you time and resources, and enable your clients to take control of their own wellbeing.

Learning outcomes This half-day course will: • Provide you with added skills and confidence to deliver a MECC chat / conversation around a health and wellbeing topic • Provide you with practical tools to assist you in having MECC conversations • Increase your awareness of the services in Leeds around key health and wellbeing topics The course is delivered by knowledgeable Public Health specialists.
