ASD in Women involved with the Criminal Justice System - Awareness Event

We are in the position to be able to deliver Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) training which we want to open out to partners and professionals working with women within the criminal justice system.This is being funded as part of our new service, Footsteps.As part of the bid, we have secured funding to provide ASD awareness training for professionals. The next training will take place in Yorkshire on Wednesday 3rd July 2019. This will take place in the St Giles Trust training room, within the Leeds Media Centre, Leeds, LS7 3HZ.
 

We will be offering a morning session 9.30am-12.30pm for professionals who have little or no experience of supporting women with ASD. During this session you will receive an understanding of the issues faced by women with autism, involved with the criminal justice system, and how best to support them.
We will also be offering an afternoon session 1.30pm-4.30pm for professionals who already have some experience of this client group and would like to further develop this knowledge.
