All resources are online, so distance is no object to gaining the credit for your knowledge and understanding of what it takes to run a volunteering programme. 
A real tutor will work alongside you throughout the course, supporting you to achieve your qualification.
Overall, you will need about 60 hours to complete all elements of the course.

Learning outcomes Unit 1: Organisations and Volunteering: Principles and Practice of running a volunteer programme. Why is volunteering important and valuable? What must organisations do to ensure a happy experience for everyone. Unit 2: Attracting and Recruiting Volunteers: How to market your volunteering opportunities, the process of recruitment and Induction. Unit 3: Supporting and Supervising Volunteers. Ensuring that volunteers are able to develop their expertise and professionalism as well as their own individual wants and needs.
