|Description||Suicide to Hope offers a unique training opportunity to complement helpers’ preparation and confidence in providing effective suicide care. Suicide to Hope offers tools which complement helpers’ preparation and confidence in providing effective suicide care following suicide first-aid training.
We are very excited to now be able to deliver ‘Suicide to Hope’, the follow-on course to the Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST).
Sometimes people lack in confidence and do not feel prepared for this role. Suicide to Hope aims to improve your confidence and preparation in providing effective suicide care. It is designed to strengthen hope by fostering recovery and growth in people with previous suicide experience who are currently safe.

|Learning outcomes||-Create hope by affirming that suicide experiences can be life-changing if people keep safe and choose to live; -Assist people to work through suicide toward achievable recovery and growth goals; and -Integrate suicide care into recovery approaches to mental health and wellbeing|
|Suitable for||This is an intensive one-day course designed for clinicians and other professionals who encounter suicide as an inevitable and significant part of their job.|
