Description FREE COURSE: This practical session will help third sector organisations planning to apply for funding to the Leeds Youth Pathways Grant Fund (£10 - £50K for organisations planning to deliver innovative, creative projects built on knowledge about successful interventions which will engage, work with and support NEET young people – similar to the previous Leeds Guarantee Fund) commissioned through LCC Children’s Services.  You will get more from the session if you thoroughly read the guidance and application form before attending the session and have an outline of the activity you hope to apply for. The session will have input from the Children’s Services Commissioning and Contract Management team.

Please note: Due to demand, this workshop is limited to one place per organisation. Details of the fund are available on yortender (www.yortender.org.uk). The bidding process opens on 11th January, and closes on 17th February, with successful projects to commence delivery on 1st April 2017

This session is aimed at helping groups to fundraise for their organisation and the projects and activities they want to develop, with as little stress as possible.

Groups will be able to confidently plan their fundraising effectively (we will give you a funding strategy template), sharing the burden and drawing on different skills and experience within the group.

It will help you to assess your funding needs and identify a range of funding sources and fundraising methods (from grant funding to crowdfunding), and plan how to keep your fundraising on track.

Learning outcomes Plan your fundraising effectively. Know which activities/projects will attract funding from which fundraising method. Identify and share out fundraising tasks, with a time-table. Identify appropriate funding sources (including a look at the Leeds funding portal).
