Working Voices

The Working Voices project delivers health engagements through private sector organisations to give working people a voice in the development of services.

About Working Voices

NHS Leeds CCG has identified working age people as one of the more difficult groups to involve in health engagements.  Building on the experience of our Engaging Voices project, Working Voices aims to create a solution to this by engaging people in the workplace through employers. Working Voices engages employees in consultation and engagement activities, which helps to ensure that health services meet the needs of all the people of Leeds.

Our partners

Our current partners include John Lewis, Leeds City Council and Leeds City College. Voluntary Action Leeds provides support, administration and training to enable organisations to deliver engagements effectively with their employees. Engagements come in various forms and delivery can be tailored to meet your company’s needs:

  • Completing online surveys
  • Taking part in focus groups
  • Engaging with employees at team meetings or away days

Our Working Voices partners receive feedback about the consultations they take part in and resulting developments within services, so that employees can see how their feedback is being used to improve health services.
