Creating a Culture of Peace in a Time of Pandemic: The Work of the Peace Museum

Speaker: Shannen Johnson, The Peace Museum, Bradford

The Peace Museum explores the history and the often untold stories of peace, peacemakers, social reform and peace movements. It occupies three small galleries in one of Bradford’s many fine Victorian buildings.

In this seminar, Shannen Johnson will be providing a virtual tour of the museum’s galleries and talking about the museum’s unique collection and work.

Shannen is the Learning and Engagement Officer at The Peace Museum, Bradford, the only museum of its kind in the UK. She has been at the museum for 7 years after studying a degree in International History and Politics at the University of Leeds.
