Maybe you’ve recently moved to the area, maybe you’ve been meaning to sort it for a while, or maybe you weren’t sure if you even needed to be registered. Whatever the reason, if you don’t have a GP, now is a great time to change that – and with flu season just around the corner, there’s never been a better moment to get sorted.

Being registered with a GP means you have someone in your corner when you need it – whether that’s a routine check-up, help managing a long-term condition, or just advice when something doesn’t feel right. It also means you can access your free NHS flu jab when the time comes, which can make a real difference over the winter months.

Health Care First is an NHS GP partnership with seven surgeries across the local area, including in Castleford, Normanton, Ferrybridge, Byram, Methley and Airedale. As a community-focused practice, we offer a full range of primary care services for patients of all ages – from routine appointments and health checks to long-term condition management, prescriptions, referrals and more.
