The Hunslet Club is a not-for-profit youth organisation and registered Charity in South Leeds. Our top priority is to serve as a safe place for young people in and around Leeds. We strive to ensure every young person can reach their full potential, despite financial circumstances.

One way we help young people in the local community is with our youth clubs, which are on five days a week and provide young people with a safe space to chat with friends, learn new skills, try new sports, and have fun.

We have a wide range of activities and events, plus, young people have the chance to form a fun social group outside of school, which helps them with their confidence.

Right now, we are looking for ways to broaden their horizons even more, as we want to organise trips for the young people who attend our youth clubs.

We are hosting a fundraising car wash on the 8^th of July 2023, from 9:30 AM until 12:00 PM, and it will cost £3 per car. Youth Club supporters can pay at the gate, to come into our car park for a spot where the exterior of their car will be washed by volunteers from our youth clubs.

All money raised will go towards trips for our youth club. Young people need trips, no matter how small or big, to help them make positive memories, and allow them to have further insight into the world around them.

A lot of children miss out on school trips, family holidays and days out due to financial constraints. With rising costs causing further restrictions on budgets, many families face limited travel budgets, or no travel plans at all.

Children shouldn’t miss out, and we will continue to strive to take as many young people as possible on trips. It is more than just a trip to a location outside of The Hunslet Club, it is a chance for young people to experience something new, to have a positive memory, and in some cases, to forget, for a moment the struggles they have each day.
