Our job service is for primarily for promoting paid third sector positions. If you think you have a role that would benefit from being advertised to our audience simply login and submit your opportunity online.

All jobs are listed on our website for up to a month and will have one inclusion in the E-News, where the application deadline makes it possible.

Once you submit a job, it is checked by the team before being published. It can take up to three working days for jobs to appear on the website and you’ll be notified when it is made live – if your role has a short deadline you can get in touch to see what we can do.

Job Advert Pricing

We operate a simple and transparent pricing structure for advertising your job opportunities.

  • VAL Essentials subscribers
    Among the many benefits to being a VAL Essentials subscriber, you can get 2 job adverts for free, and receive 50% off subsequent adverts
  • £60 per listing for third sector organisations
    This includes registered charities, voluntary and community organisations, social enterprises and cooperatives.
  • £120 per listing for the statutory sector
    This includes local authorities, health authorities and other public services provided by the government.

Volunteer Opportunities

Our jobs service is for recruiting paid positions within the third sector but we do also advertise volunteer positions – for free! If you’d like to recruit volunteers you can advertise and manage those opportunities using the volunteer platform.
