Apply now for a small grant, between £1,000 and £5,000, to improve local spaces and services along the 70-mile Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) as part of a new community fund, delivered by GMCVO.
With billions of pounds being invested to transform train travel between Manchester, Huddersfield, Leeds and York, TRU has launched the community fund to give back to the communities it is working in.
A total of £175,000 is to be distributed along the route this year. The small grants round is now open with grants available between £1,000 and £5,000.
Community projects within 5 miles of the core TRU route and its key diversionary routes will be eligible to receive funding.
The deadline to apply is 12pm (midday), Monday 16th September.
