Asha Neighbourhood Project is a charity and celebrates its 40th birthday this year of improving the lives of women and their families living in South Leeds. We give our service users a wider understanding of their rights, opportunities and services available to them for them to live a healthier, happier and more productive life.
The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Asha Centre. The Asha Centre delivers a wide variety of services and initiatives to meet the health, advocacy, support, educational needs of women and their families from the ethnically diverse communities living in the 10% most deprived super output area in South Leeds. In addition, the centre can provide a safe, women only, space which gives women with complex needs the confidence to use the services offered.
Essential requirements:
Must have:
· Excellent communication skills both spoken and written.
· Excellent IT skills and be competent in working with a wide range of IT applications including the use of social media and WordPress.
· Experience of monitoring, data collection and collation.
· Experience of admin work
· A good understanding of women’s issues – you will be working in a woman only environment where you will be required to be a ‘first contact’ for women who are often presenting with sensitive issues.
