New Report: Exploring Cross-Sector Digital Volunteering Partnerships
Added: 20/08/2025
The Digital Fellowship Project set out to explore how the tech industry, the VCSE sector, and statutory bodies can work together to create more effective and inclusive digital volunteering partnerships.
Funded by Include+ at the University of Leeds, the Fellowship was shaped and supported by the Leeds Digital Volunteering Partnership; a collaborative partnership between Voluntary Action Leeds, Forum Central, Leeds Community Foundation, 100% Digital Leeds, and Leeds City Council.
Over several months, we engaged with stakeholders from across sectors through interviews, focus groups and desk research. The conversations highlighted not only the challenges such as knowledge gaps and communication barriers, but also a shared commitment to impact and values alignment.
The report brings together the voices of those working on the ground and offers insights for anyone looking to improve cross-sector collaboration. If you’re interested in building stronger digital partnerships, supporting digital inclusion, or scaling impact through volunteering, this is essential reading.
