Roundhay Stroke Support Club
Roundhay Stroke Support Club is looking for musical entertainers as it develops its entertainment programme for next year.
The Club supports about 40 Stroke survivors, families and carers from Leeds and the surrounding areas. It meets every second and fourth Thursday of the month at Oakwood Church in Oakwood, Leeds.
Although as a voluntary organisation, the Club is unable to pay any kind of appearance fee, they can cover travel expenses up to £60.
They are particularly looking for entertainers who can entertain at their Irish music and Country music events to be held next year.
The Club is using a range of social media channels to seek potential entertainers and has successfully attracted a reggae act and a performance poet using X, Facebook and NextDoor.
