Voluntary Action Leeds
Working together with the Lifelong Learning Centre at the University of Leeds, Voluntary Action Leeds (VAL) are now offering a new series of seminar training opportunities. Encouraging the attendee to ‘Think’, ‘Feel’ and ‘Do’, the three seminars introduce A Holistic Practice Approach to Supporting Excluded Groups.
The seminars are designed for practitioners supporting people experiencing poverty and social exclusion. They are led by a subject specialist in family support and child protection from the Lifelong Learning Centre at the University of Leeds.
Each of the three one-hour sessions can be undertaken as a standalone course, however as each subsequent session builds on the learnings provided in the previous one, if they can, attendees are encouraged to attend all three sessions. The sessions are offered on a Pay as You Feel basis.
