Adopt A Grandparent is a UK-registered charity (No. 1208584) tackling loneliness among older adults through virtual friendships. They pair care home residents and older individuals with volunteers of all ages, connecting them for regular, one-to-one video calls that bring joy, conversation and companionship.

Loneliness doesn’t always look like being alone. It can exist in a room full of people. This is where Adopt a Grandparent comes in. Bridging generations. Ending loneliness. One video call at a time.

The programme is completely free for care homes across the UK.
