We are looking to start up some music sessions for women in East Leeds, particularly focusing on women who may experience barriers to beginning or practicing their music due to economic difficulties or childcare responsibilities.

These sessions will be split into beginners and intermediate sessions, working towards learning an instrument or developing your skills in a friendly, open and none judgemental space, writing or covering songs together and looking towards recordings, self promotion and gig opportunities.

We are also looking to set up some access to Jazz sessions for young people in East Leeds, making jazz music accessible and breaking the jazz code! This will be a course for young people who already play an instrument to some degree.

At the moment we are looking for expressions of interest, so get in touch if you are interested!
