With infection rates in Leeds at 134.8 per 100,000 the key message for the third sector is to continue to reinforce the key Covid safety messages:
- Keep a safe distance wherever you can
- Wash your hands regularly and for 20 seconds
- Cover your face in enclosed spaces
- Stick to the rules to minimise contact
- Isolate when you need to/are advised to
- Only get a test if you have symptoms
The Council have developed an FAQ document although aimed at Cllrs and MPs we think will be helpful to our members
In other news:
- 13 of 17 Leisure Centres are now open and offering most of the usual services
- October is Black History Month –you can find out about event on the Leeds Inspired website
- Offering something to look forward to for Light Night on 22 – 24 October, Artist Seb Lee has designed a spectacular interactive laser display that will be cast from the rooftops of seven Leeds buildings. It will be visible for miles around, allowing people to enjoy the display safely from their homes, or via a live online video stream.
