On Friday, with debate continuing about emerging new approach to local restrictions, council leaders from across West Yorkshire met with senior Government Officials and made a joint call for local investment in local contact tracing, additional support for business and more support for communities.

Third Sector Leeds knows the difference that our members continue to make for communities and that this has been achieved because of the strength of our partnership with statutory partners. We fully support their argument for greater local control and for further investment enabling our city to continue to meet the challenge of Coronavirus and to thrive in the future.
