JPIMedia is inviting you to nominate your hero for the Big Thank You Awards in Yorkshire.

Thousands of people have stepped up to help their local community during lockdown. We’ve seen the most incredible acts of kindness, bravery and compassion and these awards will be an opportunity for us, and the public, to say a big thank you to those that have done so much to help others during this pandemic.

The virtual awards event will take place on Friday 11 December 7pm.

Everyone in Yorkshire will be able to tune in and watch the Big Thank You winners get their awards LIVE. There will also be some entertainment and special guests throughout the evening, a great night in for all the family to enjoy.

In these trying times it is important to us for everyone to keep safe which is why we chose to host an online event, so we can still show those who work hard to look after us, that we are thankful for everything they do.

Nominations have now been extended to Sunday 15 November at 6pm
