Small grants of up to £200 are to be given for events and promotion of the covid-19 vaccine with a health inequalities focus from Leeds City Council as part of the Evergreen programme, and Leaving No One Behind programme.

This funding can be used for things such as engagement events, venue hire, refreshments, translation, resources and incentives.

It is anticipated that there will be high demand for these small grants which is why the cap on requests is £200.

Requests need to support raising awareness or vaccine uptake for the following groups;

• those in areas of lowest uptake
• gender specific
• culturally diverse groups
• English is not the main spoken language
• older people
• social inclusion groups
