Leeds Together For Ukraine Fund is offering grants of £5,000 to £10,000 for up to one year to community organisations supporting Ukrainian and other refugees to engage and connect with the diverse residents in Leeds.
Leeds Community Foundation is partnering with Leeds City Council on this important funding programme for the benefit of community organisations to support the arrival and hosting of Ukrainian and other refugees in the city of Leeds.
The Leeds Together For Ukraine appeal was launched in response to the humanitarian crisis and aims to provide support to Ukrainian refugees as they build their lives in the UK. In addition, through this funding LCF would like to maximise opportunities for newly arrived Ukrainian and other refugees to engage and connect with the diverse range of residents living in Leeds.
The programme is aimed at any existing Community Organisations or group that can show:
- They have the right knowledge, experience and skills to deliver programmes or activities to support and integrate new refugees.
- A clearly planned and evidence-based approach to justify their support activity and interventions.
This funding is for a new and/or existing activity for up to 1 year. The grant can be used to part-fund or fully-fund a wide range of activities.
All Expressions of Interest should seek to improve knowledge/access to services and must meet one of the following themes: supporting newly arrived refugees with integration and belonging; development of English language skills; employability and skills development; health and wellbeing; older people.
