Apprenticeships in the Third Sector
Added: 16/06/2023
We know that the Third Sector in Leeds offers brilliant, rewarding careers for people at all experience levels and seniority. However, it can sometimes be challenging for community organisations to recruit and grow their people’s skills.
Apprenticeships can be a great way to encourage recruitment into the sector, but it can often be hard to navigate the system. Recently, Leeds Health and Care Academy have been developing apprenticeship programmes available to any organisation focused on the ‘Wider Determinants of Health’. Some third-sector organisations have already taken the plunge and joined these programmes.
Leeds Health and Care Academy, Forum Central and Voluntary Action Leeds have come together to offer a FREE introductory webinar for the third sector on Wednesday 5 July, 11.30 am-12.30 pm and will give you the opportunity to find out about:
• How Apprenticeships can help you to grow your staff
• The funding that is available to support Apprentices’ training
• Current collaborative apprenticeship offer from the Leeds Health and Care Academy
• Some of the things you’ll need to consider about enabling your Apprentices to have the best possible learning experience.
