West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership

Do you work with children and their families in crisis?

“One in six children are affected by mental health issues in the UK, yet 75% of those affected have not received sufficient support and intervention at an early age”

A series of events will be held shortly in West Yorkshire looking at how we can improve the crisis offer for children and young people.

West Yorkshire CYPMH Multi-Disciplinary Crisis Offer Events aim to bring people across the sector, who deliver crisis support (in its widest sense), together.

It will be solution focussed, information sharing and will encourage learning and the sharing of ideas to improve the offer and provide support. It will improve communication across services / projects to create a more whole-system approach to supporting CYPMH in crisis.

It will look to tackle transitional problems in this context as well as encouraging the sharing of information between organisations to adopt a true ‘tell once’ approach for these young people. These events will encourage reflective practice, collaboration, and evaluation of each place’s offer now and moving forward.

West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership would like representation across all services to be involved.

The events will be held in Leeds City Centre as follows:

  • Event 1: Face to Face – 24th July 2023 at St George’s Centre, Leeds at 9:30am – 3:30pm
  • Event 2: Online – 6th September 2023 – 9:30am – 12:30pm
  • Event 3: Face to Face – 30th October 2023 at St George’s Centre, Leeds at 9:30am – 3:30pm

Booking for the session on 24 July is now live – reserve your place here.
