Leeds Funding Support Network Meeting
Tuesday 10th October 2023 at 1.00pm – 2.30pm

If you are involved in fundraising for your charity, community group or other not-for-profit organisation in Leeds, as a management committee member, volunteer or paid worker, then join us to learn more about funding and fundraising and share your group’s funding needs.

Our speakers/topics will be:

• Tom Presland, Business Development Manager from GWD will talk about raising funds through Contactless Donations.

• Sarah Wilson or Martin Dean from Forum Central will speak about Transforming Mental Health Grants (up to £50,000 to fund activities and support in Leeds for people with complex mental health needs, including a focus on health and wellbeing needs of Black men; Older people; Young People transitioning into adult services; People with access needs and People most impacted by the cost of living crisis) being launched on 30th October 2023.

We hope you will join us and take the opportunity to share any fundraising tips and successes you have had or any difficult funding issues. The group is particularly aimed at small groups new to fundraising or for group members/workers new to fundraising and/or who want to develop their fundraising knowledge and skills as well as more experienced fundraisers who will generously share their experiences.
