Free Roller-Skating Event for young people in Leeds

The Hunslet Club
The Hunslet Club is a not-for-profit youth organisation and registered charity in South Leeds. The main priority of The Hunslet Club is to serve as a safe place for young people in and around Leeds. They strive to help young people reach their full potential, despite their backgrounds or financial circumstances, which includes hosting free events.
Free youth clubs run throughout the week to ensure young people have a safe space to go after school, which keeps them off the streets. The Hunslet Youth Club offers various free activities, such as baking, cooking, gym sessions, Job Shop, arts and crafts, access to the games room and hair and beauty salon, plus, free events throughout the year.
Skating into The Hunslet Youth Club this Friday, 24th November is another fantastic free event – a Roller Skating event, kitted out with music and lights to make the evening truly memorable and fun. Young people will have the opportunity to strap on a pair of skates and show their roller skating skills at The Hunslet Club.
Equipment will be provided, including roller skates, helmets, and knee pads, or you can bring your own.
This event is happening within our Senior Youth Club on Friday, 24th November 2023 – this means it is suitable for those in year 8+. Newcomers are welcome to join, you just need to sign in at reception.
Events like this allow young people to experience things they might not have the chance to do outside of The Hunslet Club. We want to organise more events like this, so these young people can have positive stories to share – stories that will shape their childhood that they can carry with them into adulthood. Everyone deserves to have experiences like this, and we are doing our best to make that happen for the young people in South Leeds and surrounding areas.
