Report – Evaluation of the ‘Local Care Partnerships – Pilot Project’

Added: 07/10/2024

Voluntary Action Leeds’ Research and Evaluation team have recently released an evaluation report of the ‘Local Care Partnerships – Pilot Project’.

This six-month long collaborative effort involved ‘anchor’ organisations in three areas of outer Leeds; Pudsey, Aireborough and Morley. These anchors worked closely with Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust and Forum Central, recieving funding to take on projects in each of their indidivual areas that all attempted to bring their communities closer to their local health service.

Anchors were given full control over how to shape their projects, using their knowledge and experience of their community to design them in a way that best suited their area.

VAL has therefore put together a written report which evaluates this overall project, highlighting what was achieved and learned for all partners.

The full report can be found on VAL’s Research and Evaluation page, where you can also see a range of other reports and information on how to get involved with VAL’s Research and Evaluation service.
