Digital Fellowship Research Report
The Digital Fellowship Project explored how the tech industry, the VCSE sector, and statutory bodies can collaborate to create more effective and inclusive digital volunteering partnerships. Funded by Include+ at the University of Leeds, the Fellowship was shaped and supported by the Leeds Digital Volunteering Partnership: a collaboration between Voluntary Action Leeds, Forum Central, Leeds Community Foundation, 100% Digital Leeds, and Leeds City Council.
While supported by Voluntary Action Leeds, this project was not part of its research and evaluation service. Over several months, stakeholders across sectors were engaged through interviews, focus groups, and desk research. These discussions highlighted challenges such as knowledge gaps and communication barriers, as well as a shared commitment to impact and values alignment.
