📍 Location:  Seacroft, Leeds, West Yorkshire
💰 Salary: Equivalent to min. wage but will be subject to a six month review
🕒 Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday) 08.30 – 16.30 
📄 Contract: Temporary / Fixed term contract on a full time basis but will consider part time applications

Leeds & Moortown Furniture Store is a charity-driven organisation dedicated to helping people in need by providing affordable, high-quality furniture and household items. We collect, store, and deliver furniture across Leeds, supporting local communities and reducing waste through reuse.

The Role

We are looking for a Driver to join our friendly team. This role involves driving a van to collect and deliver furniture, as well as helping in the warehouse with sorting, loading, and organising stock.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Driving a van to collect and deliver donated furniture across Leeds & surrounding areas.
✔ Loading & unloading furniture safely, ensuring items are transported without damage.
✔ Providing excellent customer service when interacting with donors and customers.
✔ Warehouse duties, including sorting, moving, storing furniture efficiently and helping to keep the warehouse clean and tidy.
✔ Maintaining vehicle cleanliness & safety checks.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Have a drivers licence to drive a 7.5 ton van – Category C1 licence 
✅ Physically fit, able to lift and carry furniture safely.
✅ A team player with a friendly and helpful attitude.
✅ Someone with good organisational skills and attention to detail.
✅ Experience in a warehouse or delivery role is beneficial but not essential.
